Amtico PS Adhesive
The Amtico Pressure Sensitive Adhesive is a single-part, water-based, synthetic polymer emulsion adhesive designed for installing Amtico tiles on suitably prepared interior subfloors, such as concrete, sand/cement screed, levelling compounds, and plywood. It is solvent-free, non-flammable, and has low VOC emissions, certified EC1 Plus by GEV Emicode. The adhesive bonds only when pressure is applied, offering an extended working time of up to 3 hours, depending on temperature, humidity, and subfloor absorbency. It covers approximately 3–3.5 m² per kg (300 grams per m²) using an A2 notched spreader. It is not suitable for areas with significant temperature variations or underfloor heating, where Amtico HT Extra Adhesive is recommended
